I was born in 1996, and live in Lund, Sweden. Starting out in traditional wildlife photography, focussing particularly on birds, I have since then come to broaden my themes, and my approach to photographing nature today owes as much to other photographic traditions. Although I have never made it an explicit project of mine, I often explore the intersection of nature and culture. The intimate landscape, as we sometimes call it, I have also become increasingly fond of.

Most of the images on the site are edited with nothing more than basic image-processing. All images are single-exposures and no elements have been removed or added. Sometimes local adjustments of exposure, contrast etc. have been done. Contact me for information about particular images.

- I have been awarded several times in international competitions
such as Wildlife Photographer of the Year and Nordic Nature Photo contest.

My name is Sander Broström and I've been into photography since the end of 2008. I was born in 1996 and I live in Lund in the southern part of Sweden.

My first real adventure with photography was bird photography and it was a trip to the United States in 2007. Seeing the exotic American birds, from cardinals to roadrunners, sparked my interest, and I returned with hundreds of pictures taken with a small compact camera. Often the bird wasn't even visible in the picture, but I was hooked. Since then, I've spent most of my spare time photographing both in Sweden and abroad.
